Project Bridge
Since 1985, Cornell Cooperative Extension has collaborated with Project Bridge, in this New York City initiative to prevent teen pregnancies in communities with high pregnancy rates. The program emphasizes inclusion of the whole family in the provision of care and the education of the teens. The intervention is conducted through small groups and special events. Focus of the education is placed on nutrition, parenting and child development.
