Breastfeeding Promotion Leadership Committee (BPLC)
An event organized by the New York City BPLC
The New York City Breastfeeding Promotion Leadership Committee (BPLC) was established to bring together representatives from breastfeeding programs in NYC to: share information on current breastfeeding projects; explore ways of working together; identify the needs and gaps in breastfeeding initiatives; collaborate efforts to increase breastfeeding initiation and duration rates; seek funding sources; plan training for breastfeeding professionals; and implement public education initiatives such as media campaign; and respond to breastfeeding matters in NYC.
