Developing the competence and character of youth and adults in families and communities.


  • Improving parenting skills by training agency leaders to implement projects such as Enhance Parenting Skills and Talking to Kids about HIV/Aids
  • Enhancing the personal development of youth and building youth leadership skills through communication, problem solving, and decision making
  • Increasing positive interaction between youth and diverse, caring adults via volunteer mentoring
  • Developing 4-H programs through partnerships with community based organizations, faith-based organizations, schools, etc.
