Program Information
CUCE-NYC works closely with partners to support positive development of youth, families and communities to reach their fullest potential
To support parents and caregivers in meeting the challenges of parenting today, CUCE-NYC provides training, workshops, and resources to agency leaders that will assist them in strengthening parents' awareness, understanding, and skills related to working effectively with their children.
Training, resources, and partnerships include:
- Enhanced Parenting Skills (EPS)
- Talking With Kids About HIV/AIDS
- Bridge for Adolescent Pregnancy, Parenting, and Sexuality (BAPPS)
- CHANCE: an obesity-prevention pilot program in collaboration with Nutrition & Health scheduled to begin in March, 2006
- Faculty Conversations and other special live down-link and on-line seminar and training opportunities related to parenting and family matters
