Urban Environment program participants learn environmental sciences through hands-on, fun and exciting learning opportunities that have relevance to their lives.
CUCE-NYC works closely with partners in developing and implementing educational programs using innovative, science-based and hands-on learning strategies to enable diverse audiences to address local environmental needs through individual and community action.
CUCE-NYC's Urban Environment Program Area develops and implements learning opportunities in the following areas:
- Environmental and Science Education
- Professional Development
- Community Improvement and Sustainability
Adults engage in professional development activities that provide them with new resources, teaching tools, and effective strategies for educating others.
